Johnson did PhD at Monash University (2001-4) with A/Prof Kay Stewart & Dr David Kong. 9 peer-reviewed publications resulted from his PhD. He won the 2005 Mollie Holman Doctoral medal for excellence in a doctoral thesis. In 2007, after 2 years of postdoc in Scotland, he returned to Monash where he is now a Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice.
