This book chronicles an extensive investigation on the different discourses derived from careful studies of the Adinkra Symbols of Ghana. These studies ranged from their (Adinkra) history and origin, their association with linguistics and their relationship to Art and Design. Certain aspects of this study inculcated strategic analysis of the symbols themselves as well as the research of other phenomenal authors and scholars to aid in supporting various theories. In addition, a mixed media installation piece brings to bear a creative visual manifestation of the otherwise complex scholarly study. Most importantly, this research is a celebration, a rejuvenation and reinvention of a culture that has withstood the test of time.
