Adjudication by the National Industrial Court in Nigeria was previously statutorily regulated under Part II of the Trade Disputes Act, 2004. The National Industrial Court Act, 2006 has repealed part II of the Trade Disputes Act, 2004, and ipso facto, has introduced new legal regime in the adjudication of trade disputes in Nigeria. It is therefore, the focus of this Research Work to examine the adjudication of Trade Disputes in Nigeria under the National Industrial Court Act, 2006. This is to assess the effectiveness or otherwise of trade disputes resolution system through adjudication by the National Industrial Court in Nigeria. This has become so important, especially in the face of the current economic crisis when the occurrence of labour disputes in Nigeria have become so frequent and Nigeria is consequently in dire need of industrial harmony and peace for a virile economy. This Research Work has been divided into six chapters to achieve this target.
