Adolescence Education is an emerging concept which comprises of life skills, human sexuality, reproduction and sexual behaviour of adolescents and sexually transmitted diseases. It is an educational programme designed to provide adolescents with adequate and accurate knowledge about sexual development and behaviour of individuals concerning biological, psychological, social, cultural and moral dimensions. This study aims to assess the programme effectiveness of adolescence education on teacher tainees and adolescents. The study compares the experimental group and the control group. Sex difference is also studied in relation to programme effectiveness of adolescence education.

Greta D'Souza graduated from Mount Carmel College, Bangalorewith a Bachelors degree in Arts, continued with Bachelors andMasters Degree in Education at St. Anne's College, Mangalore.Later, completed M. Phil in Education at Christ University. Sheis presently a Ph.D scholar (Education) at Christ University,Bangalore.
