This book examines the adoption of organic cocoa production. Specifically, it presents knowledge and experiences gained on smallholder cocoa farmers in Suhum - Kraboa Coaltar District of the Eastern Region of Ghana. The book covers the determinants and intensity of adoption of organic cocoa production by smallholder cocoa farmers in the district. It also investigates the difference in profitability between conventional and organically produced cocoa in the district. The material included in this book is considered to be of immense value and interest to smallholder cocoa farmers as well as those concerned in the research on cocoa addressing recent development issues.
