In fact, she met her husband sailing from Destin, Florida, to Key West and raised two sons and a daughter, all of whom are excellent sailors in their own right.As a serial sailboat owner, racer, cruiser, and unpaid crewmember on friends' boats, she accumulated a wealth of knowledge to convey to women who wish to sail but find it a daunting task given their busy lives. She knows there is no requirement to leave everything and everyone behind, and circumnavigate the globe in order to discover the joy of sailing. Whether on a trip near-shore or far, small vessel or large, all sailors get the same rush of adrenaline when they gather the confidence to drop the dock lines.
