The starting point of the study is the concept of adult education as an educational field following school pedagogy and concerns the tertiary educational field of universities in the pedagogical endeavor of a university didactics and the quaternary educational field of general and vocational adult education with the specific subject didactics of the subject areas and principles of learning theories and teaching culture in adulthood. Increasing professionalism of sustainable pedagogy is required as a consequence of school-based basic education with concepts of civic education.
