In this book the details information about stability constants is involved. In present investigation, the dependence of stability constants on the ionic strength of the medium was examined by taking fixed concentrations of metal nitrates and nitric acid during pH-metric titrations. The system has been studied at, 0.02M, 0.04M, 0.06M, 0.08M and 0.1M ionic strengths by varying the concentrations of potassium nitrate. In addition to potassium nitrate, the titrating system contained ions from nitric acid, metal nitrate and sodium hydroxide. It is observed that there is good agreement of proton…mehr

It is observed that there is good agreement of proton ligand stability constants between half integral method and point wise calculation methodDetermination of metal-ligand stability constants requires the accurate values of proton-ligand stability constants. Higher values of log K1 and log K2 showed that ligands are stronger chelating agents and vice versa
