She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education from College of New Jersey, and is a Certified Naturopathic Doctor, a Licensed Traditional Naturopath and Certified Traditional Tribal Healer (United Cherokee Nation). She has owned Food For Thought Natural Food Store in Ringwood, New Jersey since 1981 and she is a licensed Health Officer in New Jersey.In 2002 Dr. Garofano developed and patented an antifungal cream and powder called "Funguswacker5000". She is also the creator of a trademarked product named "ProgestaPure33", a hypo-allergenic, bio-identical, plant-based progesterone cream.Dr. Garofano is well-known for her extensive knowledge and work experience in "Dried Blood Cell Analysis" since 2001. She has taught and lectured extensively on the subject, and has a large client base in both New Jersey and Ohio.
