One most premiere one being awarded as "Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan Teacher's Excellence Award 2021" by Sikhshak Kalyan Foundation and AICTE, Govt. of India. Prof. Sarkar is ex-Head of Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Jadavpur University.
