Patricia è una pedagogista specializzata in ambiente e ha conseguito un Master in Sostenibilità in Gestione Ambientale presso l'Università Federale di São Carlos. Ha lavorato nei settori dell'educazione ambientale, delle politiche pubbliche, della gestione delle acque e dei rifiuti, del cambiamento climatico e del consumo sostenibile. È stata coinvolta nelle lotte ambientali fin dagli anni '80. Vive a Itu-SP.
