Autorenporträt
Dr. Kripa Shanker is the former Vice-Chancellor of Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow, and former Deputy Director of Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He obtained his M.S and Ph.D. in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University, USA. His main areas of teaching and research include production and operations management, supply chain management, quantitative and statistical decision models, computer integrated and flexible manufacturing systems, cellular manufacturing, and simulation. He has published more than a hundred papers in international journals and conference proceedings and has organized several education courses for engineering college teachers and engineers and managers from the industry. He is a Fellow and Life Member of several organizations such as Indian National Academy Engineering, Institution of Engineers (India), Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering, and Indian Society for Technical Education. Dr. Ravi Shankar is the "Amar S. Gupta Chair Professor of Decision Science" and Group Chair of Operations and Supply Chain Management in the Department of Management Studies (DMS), Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, India. His areas of interest include decision science, business analytics, and big data, operations and supply chain management, project management, total quality management and six sigma, sustainable freight transportation, strategic technology management, telecom system planning and design, and knowledge management. Besides having a highly productive academic career, he has undertaken several international teaching assignments and research-driven collaborations.  Dr. Rahul Sindhwani is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Amity School of Engineering and Technology, Amity University, Noida, Uttar- Pradesh,  India. His research interest includes in the area of industrial and production engineering, especially in a lean, green and agile manufacturing system, quantitative and statistical decision models. He has published several research articles in international peer-reviewed journals.
