Licenciado en Ciencias Biológicas en 1975 en la Universidad de Roma "Sapienza".Tras una breve experiencia como investigador en Neurofisiopatología, comenzó a trabajar con varias multinacionales farmacéuticas hasta 2010.Desde entonces ha profundizado en el estudio de la biología, centrándose en particular en las nanotecnologías.
