Ayumu Takahashi is an entrepreneur who lives in Okinawa, Japan, with his wife and children. After dropping out of college at age twenty, he found success opening an American-style bar. A few years later, he started the successful publishing company Sanctuary Books. Currently, he is the founder and president of four companies: A-works, Inc., a book and magazine publishing and producing factory; Play Earth, Inc., an international cafe and guesthouse developer; Island Project, Inc., a self sustaining Okinawa island village producer; and One Peace Books, a book publisher in the United States.
