The first-born son of a highly credentialed teacher (mother) and Dental Surgeon (father), the author grew up on a horse farm in South Lyon,Michigan. Kevin S. Grimm excelled in sports, academics, and the performing arts, receiving many honors, awards and accolades in all venues. Upon high school graduation, he attended multiple institutions of higher education. Receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Detroit, he practiced this art for four years. Dr. Grimm finished several post-grad programs. He taught oral medicine to MDs at a hospital residency. He currently maintains a private practice for families while still focusing on his specialized training in Reconstructive Dental and Implant Dental Surgery. Aside from his practice and writing stories, all his time is spent with his children and his devoted wife. They enjoy water sports, snow sports, archery, and motorsports.
