Nairy Shahinian lives in Toronto and is a proud Canadian Armenian. After the very successful debut of her first children's book, Adventures with Rudi, Nairy was determined to continue sharing her stories about her family's beloved Goldie-poo, Rudi, the beautiful dog with a huge heart. Now in her second children's book, Rudi travels the World, Nairy and Rudi teach us even more life lessons as they take the readers on a wonderful journey full of adventure and imagination all around the world. In real life, Nairy is the proud mother of her books' main characters, Jazzy and Krik. She is devoted to her wonderful family and is an active member of the community. Through her passion for writing, Nairy hopes to encourage and inspire young readers ( and grown ups alike) to chase after their dreams and follow Rudi's example of living a life full of kindness, compassion, eagerness to learn, enthusiasm, humour and love.
