The real question for those daring to enter into full-time professional ministerial service for the Lord Jesus Christ is how do I not fall and finally fail my Lord and Savior? How do I make sure that my ministry years will be biblically fruitful and that I will remain faithful to Christ? How can I leave a legacy of godliness and faithfulness that others can follow safely and surely? This book explores some of the answers to those questions.

Autorenporträt
Carl Shank is a layout and type designer having started with IBM Selectric Composers and phototypesetters in the early 1980s and then Apple LaserWriters in 1985 and beyond in addition to his pastoral and theological work. He worked for a regular Washington D.C. area print shop heading up the typesetting and layout department in the early 1980s. Carl designed an initial Greek font for the Zondervan Corporation in the early 1990s and has worked with his own company, CARE Typography, since the late 1980s. He has developed an appreciation for not merely the mechanics of good typesetting and layout work, but also the fine art of the craft of typesetting. These articles are from a deep dive study of the history of typography and printing, as indicated by the Selected Bibliography. He is grateful for all the professional typesetters and designers who have offered assistance over the years and submit this booklet as an ongoing study of the field.
