The Editors: Brigid Haines is Reader in German at Swansea University. Stephen Parker is Henry Simon Professor of German at the University of Manchester. Colin Riordan is Vice-Chancellor of the University of Essex and was Professor of German at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne.
