RA mainly attacks the joints, usually many joints at once. Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune inflammatory disease pathologically characterized primarily by synovitis. Joint destruction, which is associated with prolonged arthritis, progresses soon after the onset of disease. The deformation of affected joints is irreversible and causes physical dysfunction. Rheumatic disease is an umbrella term that refers to arthritis and several other conditions that affect the joints, tendons, muscle, ligaments, bones, and muscles (arthritis refers to disorders that mainly affect the joints). It results from complex interactions between genes and environment, leading to a breakdown of immune tolerance and to synovial inflammation in a characteristic symmetric pattern. Distinct mechanisms promote and regulate inflammation and matrix destruction, including damage to bone and cartilage [2-4]. Although the pathophysiology of RA is not completely understood, the process generally involves dysregulated inflammation, with antigen presentation, T-cell activation, and autoantibody production all serving as mediators in the inflammatory process.RA prevention the steps Mediterranean diet, exercise 30m.
