BRENDALYN J, a native of Fort Valley, GA, retired from the federal government in 2016 after a thirty-year career. As a restless retiree, her post-retirement passions include teaching herself to play the keyboard, learning to draw, and of course, writing. In November 2006, she received an Editor's Choice Award for her poem, Hands of Time. She has two daughters, one grandson, and a granddaughter.
