He has performed with Dizzy Gillespie, Donald Byrd, Donald Bailey, Donald Brown etc...His CD Guitar Balafonics received Downbeat Magazine "One of the Best CDs of the Year" Award. The British Press Essex TV calls him the "Father of the AfroBlueGrazz Sound" exemplified in his new CD titled American Trails. Pascal Bokar is the 2021 Recipient of the Jazz Road Award from Southarts, NEA, Andrew W. Mellon Foundation & the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation.
