An area that until now has received little attention, this volume aims to define the key issues and explores the challenges and outcomes that have characterized Africa-to-Africa internationalization, providing guidance on directions for future research. Africa-to-Africa Internationalization includes both conceptual and empirical contributions, illustrating the practical issues in intra-African trade and investment. Providing readers with a deep sense of the realities and challenges of cross-border investments within the region, the cases included in the book are useful pedagogical materials for faculty members interested in teaching international business in the African context.
Ifedapo Adeleye is Senior Lecturer of Strategy and Management at Lagos Business School, Nigeria. He is currently engaged in several research and case development projects investigating the internationalization of African firms and the challenges of doing business in Africa. Lyal White is the Director of the Centre for Dynamic Markets at the Gordon Institute of Business Science, South Africa, where he is also an Associate Professor of Political Economy and International Business in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Nathaniel Boso is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Leeds University Business School, UK. He has won multiple awards in his areas of research: international entrepreneurship and innovation management. He also sits on the editorial review board of International Marketing Review as an Associate Editor.
