This book aimed to gather most information that would show that African countries and their Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) have been unfairly stuck in the Eurocentric past. Eurocentrism is responsible for the distortion of the African past. The other purpose is to inform readers interested in Africa's progress about its genuine history. To inform them about the necessary transition of the African countries and their Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). They are transitioning from a Eurocentric identity to a Pan-Africanist and Afrocentric identity. The focus is more on the HEIs. But the countries are included because they finance and determine HEIs policies.
