Africa, the origin of mankind, ancient civilization, deep rooted culture and traditions, unique hospitality and values. A continent with magnificent landscapes, wildlife and rich resources. When I think all these blessings, I always feel proud to be an African. Being the son of Africa who grown up with rich values and fascinating environment. In the other side, I have always the question of 'why Africa is the symbol of conflict, hunger and poverty?'. 'Why this magnificent continent is behind the rest of the world and why Africans could not enjoy the fruit of development?'. This paradox of Africa has brought a mixed image about the continent. In this book, I tried to bring into attention of the impact of past colonialism and the present day issues of Africa. The book tries to explore specifically on understanding the core issues of the continent and addressing those challenges from its origin. Thus Afro-European geopolitics will be more optimistic than being a dangerous future. Geopolitics as a discipline has a great potential to reflect the Afro-European history, strategic location, security and foreign policy challenges and tries to draw a road map to its future.
