This book has been a true amalgam of cooperation between Debra Head, Vaughn-Marie Rodriguez, Alexis Lewis, and me over a multiyear period. Debra Head, a long-time friend, editor, consummate English teacher, and mentor has worked with me through the years to develop my writing style and polish the dull areas.
