Bob Seltzer (a native New Yorker) received his Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University at Albany, SUNY, in 2000. He initially taught at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, and has been an Assistant Professor in Philosophy at Western Illinois University since 2005. He was diagnosed with ALS in December 2011, abbreviating an incredibly rewarding teaching career. He currently resides in Quincy, Illinois, with his wife and children - but not for much longer. This is his first and only book of poetry.
