Shalim M. Hussain is a leading figure in the Miyah poetry movement and indeed has been credited with bringing it together as a movement. He has won awards for his own poetry, and acclaim for previously published translations. He was awarded the 2020 Charles Wallace India Trust Literary Translation and Creative Writing Fellowship for Again I Hear These Waters. Poems by: Hafiz Ahmed, Shalim M.
