This sets off a chain of events that spans three countries and launches him on an adventure of struggle and perseverance.

FRANTZ COULANGES was born in Vieux-Bourg D'Aquin, Haiti and, in 1984, moved to Cambridge, Massachusetts where he grew up with two sisters and three brothers. He attended Cambridge Rindge and Latin School and Quincy College. He married his beautiful wife Brenda in 1995 and now lives in St Thomas, US Virgin Islands. Frantz hosts Painting with Pastels, a TV show that can be seen worldwide on YouTube. He is an artist, fashion designer, and entrepreneur. He currently works for the court system and immigration where he got his perspective on the struggle of his countrymen.
