Luke Young is a young author whose first book, Against the Current, aims to respond to a recent mental health crisis associated with online life. Due to his use of social media as a developing child, he now minimises his engagement with online activity as much as possible so that he can best protect his own mental health, although he avidly enjoys being with people, as an individual taking a keen interest in different individuals' engagement with the virtual world, both large and small. He has a master's degree in Intellectual History at the University of Sussex and lives in Brighton, UK.
