John Paul (JP) Phaup was Managing Director - Investments of Wells Fargo Advisors in McLean, VA, focusing on wealth management for 28 years. Phaup served on the George Mason University Foundation for twelve years and as Chairman of the Investment Committee. He was an adjunct professor of finance and an adjunct professor of nonprofit studies at George Mason University. He served as Chairman of the Arts at Mason Partnership and founded Instruments in the Attic along with the Mason Community Arts Academy. Prior to working in the investment industry, Phaup was a political consultant and manager for Republican campaigns in California and Texas and was vice president and cofounder of Hannibal Campaign Software. Phaup earned his BA in Public Affairs from the University of Southern California, an MBA from George Mason University, and was named Mason's Alumnus of the Year 2009.
