Carmen García-Peña is  the General Director of the National Institute of Geriatrics at Mexico. She is a medical doctor with an specialization of family medicine and a  master degree in medical sciences. She  obtained her PhD in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She is  qualified as Emeritus National Researcher by the National Council of Science and Technology. Member of the National Academy of Medicine, the Mexican Academy of Sciences and international member of the National Academy of Medicine at USA. Mario Ulises Pérez-Zepeda is a researcher at the National Institute of Geriatrics, Mexico. He is a medical doctor with specialization in  Internal Medicine and Geriatrics, holds a Masters and PhD in Medical Sciences from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. He is a professor at the Universidad Anáhuac México and the Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia. He is a member of the Mexican National Academy of Medicine and of the National Research Council. Luis Miguel Gutiérrez-Robledo is a medical doctor with specialization in internal medicine and geriatrics from Grenoble University, France. Dr Gutierrez-Robledo obtained his doctoral degree from the University of Bordeaux, France. He is a member of the National Academy of Medicine in México and an international member of the National Academy of Medicine in France. He is the founder and former General Director of the National Institute of Geriatrics in Mexico. Rosa Estela García-Chanes is a health researcher at the National Institute of Geriatrics, Mexico. She is a physical anthropologist at the National School of Anthropology and History with a Master's degree in Demography and a PhD in Population Studies at the College of México. She is also a member of the Mexican Research Council.
