Autorenporträt
Shamim I. Ahmad received his PhD from Leicester University and has been Lecturer at Nottingham Trent University where he the British Asian Award for "Excellence in Education." He has authored or edited eleven books and dozens of peer reviewed research papers. His research interests are in the field of DNA damage and repair and associated diseases, molecular mechanisms of Fanconi anemia, role of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in health and diseases, skin cancer by sunlight, Anti-AIDS drug development, development of new procedures for treatment of cancer, viral and bacterial infections.
