Where does faith come from and make home in your heart? At first, it molds you into steadfastness and peace. And as it grows, it takes the wheel of your life, and drives you to adventures where your life is twisted and turned, leaving you destitute. It spares nothing: it takes everything you got and more. It takes you deeper and deeper into hardship and turmoil, and it even asks for your life. And many have given theirs gladly. You can taste the agony of faith in your dried and cracked mouth when it drags you through the valley of death, where faith collides with reality without mercy, leaving you just bare bones intact. Here is a journey of faith through the roughest winter, the crashing winds, and the towering waves that are about to engulf the very essence of who you are-faith in Christ.
Autorenporträt
If I were to compare myself to an apple, I would say I have scars and worms, but I'm more sweeter and healthier for you--I'm an apple that has won the battles and winning the battles. If you decided to take a bite, please remove the worms first. Thank you. I lived most of my life in Houston, TX. I graduated from Spring Woods High and U.T. at Austin. I'm currently divorced, but seriously looking. It's not easy trying to remarry. I love eating. I notice as I get older I love food more than ever. I try to spend more time with my daughter, but she now 16, wants little to do with Dad except when she needs money. I'm running the second half of my life: I'm 48. I love my church. I confess I will die for Christ. But my life has flaws. I try to be righteous and merciful. You can see more of me on my homepage: www.agonyoffaith.com
