Produktbeschreibung
The objective of the study was to contribute to the improvement of the production and marketing of fruits and vegetables in the city of Bangui. The results of the survey carried out among the various actors involved showed that many natural and human assets are available and can develop the activity. The role of this sector is no longer in question, given its impact on human health through its contribution to the diversification of the population's diet and the income of the poorest segments of the population. Since the fall of cotton, it has been one of the primary sources of income for both producers and traders. As an economic activity, its financial contribution is not negligible. Its contribution to the local economy is quite significant. However, the fruit and vegetable production and marketing sector is faced with numerous problems that jeopardize its development and mean that its participation in the national economy is limited and oriented towards a few species that have identified themselves by organizing and structuring their sub-sector.
