The inter-linkages between agriculture and industry have been a long debate issue in all developing regions of India. Industry is not the proxy of agriculture; rather they are corresponding to one another. Both these sectors are so fond of with each other that it is not doable to increase the growth of one sector without the enhancement of the other sector. Because of this interdependence these sectors are complementary, and not competitive. With this understanding, this book is an humble attempt to explore the inter-linkages between Agriculture and industry in the economy of Jammu & Kashmir in order to identify the possible ways of carrying the state to new heights of development with the help of its diverse agriculture sector and unexplored industry sector. This book consists of six chapters, which highlights the status, scope and potential of Agriculture and industry sectors of state on one hand, and inter-linkages between the sector through different dimensions on other hand. This book would be useful to students, researches and policy makers to contribute new ideas for a sustainable and self-sufficient economic growth of agrarian economics.
