The aim was to evaluate the agro-productive response of lettuce (Lactuca sativa, L.) cultivation in the Naipalala district of Ondjiva, Cunene province, Angola, between March 16, 2023 and June 18 of the same year, using the variety: crespa Pira Roxa'. The experiment was carried out in open field conditions using a randomized block design, with four treatments each with three replicates (Table 2), for a total of 12 experimental plots in the open field. The total area was approximately 132.0 m2 (0.0132 ha), which was measured using an industrial tape measure and wooden stakes as a guide. Each bed was 113 cm wide and 5.65 m long, with 44 cm of space between the beds. The Treatments are the proportions used in the research. With doses applied at 15, 25 and 30 kg.m-2 and a test bed with no application. Growth variables were assessed: plant height, number and width of leaves, leaf length, as well as yield variables and their components: fresh mass of the aerial part and yield. Goat manure at a dose of 30 kg.m-2 gave the best results.
