Eleven-year-old Junior Dream Detective Aidan Alvarado had enough of saving the world; all he wanted to do was play soccer. That wasn't going to happen! Aidan embarks on his second case as a dream detective when Emperor Wu in ancient China needs his help again. There is a war going on between water spirit dragons. The balance of the universe is upset. The keys to the mystery are a golden feather and a mummy girl's ghost, but nobody knows why. In his quest to save the universe from total chaos Aidan has to travel in his dreams to ancient China, India, Greece and Egypt. Along the way he encounters demons and ancient gods, the renegade dream detective Diamante Petrus, a boy who can morph into a cobra, a girl who talks to elephants, a poet-philosopher who accompanied Alexander the Great on his conquests, and a beekeeper in ancient Egypt. Aidan has a lot to learn as a new dream detective. He has help from his dream detective grandparents, their dog KoKo, old and new friends, and teachers of the Way of Wisdom, but he's the one who has to face the ultimate cosmic challenge.
