Acquired Imunodeficiency Syndrome (Aids) is a pandemia with high lethal power. The adolescents in the beginning of the sexual activity can find the Diseases Sexually Transmitted (DST),the Aids included. To make a previous diagnosis of the situation that one want to intervene, it is a way used by educators in the elaboration of education programs in health scientifically elaborated.This study identified the demographic profile and the predisposing factors, enabling and reinforcing the high school students to risk behaviors for the Aids.The population of this study was of 360 high school students of the two public schools of the district of Peruíbe, Sao Paulo, Brazil. The results demonstrated that the studied population is exposed to the risk factors for the Aids, because a great part has doubts or erroneous knowledge on some means of transmission of HIV/AIDS, even so, they consider to know well and to be attentive to the subject. Most has positive belief about the prevention of the disease, however your values are still ingrained the an inequality culture among the sexes that it harms the prevention.
