This book deals, but not only, with bilateral air agreements, precious legal instruments of air law, which were, until recently, the framework founding the establishment of international air services, whether scheduled or not, between states. However, some initiatives, of great importance, concerned international air services, in addition to that which reformed the traditional air agreements with a view to their liberalization. Without neglecting the American initiative of 1978 which concerned the deregulation of air services within American territory. Moreover, the most important and the most complete, until today, is undoubtedly that initiated by the European Union. The Member States were affected by a new community air order. The regionalization of air services has been approached differently depending on the degree of cooperation between the States Parties.
