With the advent of the Clean Air Act in 1970, the number of air pollution control equipment installations has increased at an accelerated pace. This book discusses the operation and maintenance of air pollution control equipment and explores the problems connected with their use. An introductory chapter outlines the overall strategy and approach employed in the presentation of the subject, then selection procedures for air pollution equipment are considered.
