Airflow and temperature distribution inside a cold store with and without load are investigated by using experimental and computational fluid dynamic techniques in a simple and accurate way. This subject matter has been organized into six chapters starting from design and building a cold storage with using cooling load calculations, numerical simulation, Thermal Properties of food stuff (Meat) and ended by experimental and numerical results. Correlations have been developed for modeling the evaporator unit in and correlation related with heat transfer coefficient of regular shape meat. These correlations are used numerically as a boundary conditions. This book is primary written for the students in power mechanical engineering.
