Chris Allen began her writing career as a technical writer in Archaeology. In 2014, she joined Corrales Writing Group and discovered creative writing. Since then, she has won numerous awards for both her storytelling and her editing skills. She is a member of Southwest Writers and the National Federation of Press Women, and her work has appeared in a number of anthologies in the US and elsewhere. She resides in Corrales, New Mexico with her husband, Paul, and a menagerie of sheep, goats, horses, and dogs, all of which provide inspiration for her writing. Patricia Walkow is an award-winning author of newspaper and magazine articles, as well as short stories. She is the author of The War Within, the Story of Josef, a national and international award-winning narrative biography. She belongs to New Mexico Press Women, The National Federation of Press Women, New Mexico Arizona Book Co-op, SouthWest Writers, and The Military Writers Society of America. Ms. Walkow is a founding member of the Corrales Writing Group. Her work appears regularly in print and online formats. She is both editor and contributor to many anthologies that have won multiple awards.
