David Norman's debut novel, South of Hannah, received the Impress Prize Commendation Award and was published by Impress Books in 2018. His stories have appeared in Gulf Stream, American Literary Review, Image, Southern Humanities Review, Rio Grande Review, and many other publications. David Norman performs as lead pianist for the River City Band, a jazz orchestra in San Antonio, Texas, and he teaches writing at Trinity University.
