Laura Nieto Bruna was born in David, Chiriqui, Republic of Panama, in 1981. In 1999, Laura completed her first children's novel Aldo, el joven rey. During that same year, she won Honorable Mention in the Roberto Jaen y Jaen Inter-university Contest with her story El Fantasma de la Cava del Marques. In 2004, she graduated with 3rd place honors with a degree in Marketing from Universidad Santa Maria laAntigua (USMA), David branch. She studied in CESTE, Zaragoza, Spain and received her Master's Degree in Finance in 2010. She resides in Panama.
