Members of the Campbell County Historical and Genealogical Society have devoted their time and talent to bring Alexandria's rich history to light in this title. Formed in 1990 as a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving, protecting, and promoting history and genealogy in Campbell County, the group is located in the original courthouse in Alexandria and welcomes visitors to their research library and museum.
