Writing is the gateway to sanity.I grew up surrounded by poverty and drugs. It's a common story among young African Americans. I found that whether writing music, poetry, or stories, it helped me to cope and keep me on a level playing field. I have been writing for years and have decided to finally start sharing the stories that I have accumulated. So although I don't have a fancy degree in literature to boast about, life has shown me the way and I look forward to sharing my experiences and the lessons that I've learned with all of you.
