Paola di Paolo lives on a farm in central Ontario with rescued horses, ponies, cats, dogs, chickens, and donkeys. Paola is a barefoot hoof trimmer who has helped many horses, ponies, and donkeys lead a happy life running and playing with one another. Ruth, Sadie, Oscar, Gabriel, Carrie, and Jonas are her donkey companions on the farm. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this book will be donated to assist rescued donkeys.
