The advent of the fourth Industrial Revolution has transformed the relationship between citizens and politics and vice versa. While algorithms build infodemic villages with owners who watch over them from the global North, Latin American citizens wonder if the screens, if well used, can be the kick-start for the defense and construction of a democratic and committed network. The current form of democratic representation faces, once again, possible violations and challenges that we will address on the basis of the construction of the contemporary public sphere. In this sense, ideological and action programs are accompanied by numerous mechanisms and interfaces appropriate to what different strata of society wish to perceive from candidates and political referents. The aim is to show how individual tastes and preferences are agglomerated day by day to develop campaigns, speeches and even win elections on an algorithmic logic presented as neutral.
