Christos H. Papadimitriou lehrt nach Stationen an den Universitäten Harvard, Stanford und dem Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) heute an der University of California. Er hat über 300 wissenschaftliche Artikel veröffentlicht und gilt als weltweit führender Experte auf dem Gebiet der Algorithmen-, Komplexitäts- und Spieltheorie. Außerdem ist er Keyborder in einer Rockband.
