Marilyn Ellner lives in a three-hundred-year-old town in Southern Illinois with her husband, teenage son, and two college student daughters. She has two dogs, a Saint Bernard and a Pomeranian, as well as a kitten. She credits her writing ideas to being a salon stylist/owner for over 30 years. She loved listening to her clients and their crazy stories so much that she would put a 'what if' twist to the tales...which led to creating stories of her own.
